We met Arctic foxes in Þórsmörk valley on a tour the other day! It is a son and a father! They are the biggest predator in Iceland and rare to see, but these have become friendly with people. Closest we got was like 5 meters away. The young named Frosti is about a year old and the father is 7 years old and becoming old. Beautiful creatures!

Blökk is being prepaired for our longest trip yet. 8 days of hiking and doing adventures around the south. The plan is to do quite long hikes, expecially in Þakgil, Þórsmörk, Fimmvörðuháls and Landmannalaugar. The summer is really here! Hope everybody is having a great summer!

Landmannalaugar is opening up! We did the 4km Laugarhringur loop hike. Bits of it was in snow but the hike wasnt hard at all. Drove in some pretty deep waters on Dyngjuleið on the way back because it seems like the rivers are starting to increase their flow. Many of the ways in there are still closed but we still managed to do a lot! Good times!

Fun project today! Driving movie makers up to Langjökull glacier to film for an Icelandic film. The snow is very soft and we drove at 7-10km/h speed at the glacier to keep traction. The tire pressure down at 5.5 psi Did not get stuck! Jet.. its only 14:00 😅 really nice weather and basically t-shirt weather. Summer is here!
